BFIS Announces Ren Re Scholarship Recipients

The Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies (BFIS) has selected five students to receive Ren Re scholarships to attend the RAA’s ReUnderwriting Bermuda program, March 23-24.  The students are:

Reinsurance Education Institute Names James Anastasio  Educator of the Year

Jim Anastasio was presented with the Reinsurance Education Institute's 2009 "ReScholar Educator of the Year" Award at the RAA's Current Issues Forum in Philadelphia.  "Jimmy A" was recognized for his longstanding commitment to the RAA's education programs and to the many insurance and reinsurance professionals who have attended the programs.  The award was presented by Frank Nutter and Marsha Cohen.
