The Reinsurance Association of America's Reinsurance Education Institute is the leading provider of reinsurance education in the U.S. With almost twenty years experience in educating reinsurance and insurance industry professionals, the Reinsurance Education Institute provides an educational experience to enhance professionals working knowledge about core reinsurance disciplines and develop their technical and decision-making skills so they can better achieve their career objectives and goals.
The Institute's curriculum of education programs is core to the highly specialized field of reinsurance, and concentrates solely on reinsurance from the perspective of both the buyer and the seller. RAA members--veteran reinsurance professionals--are instrumental in developing and delivering the program content to ensure the most comprehensive overview of the subject matter possible. The programs have educated thousands of industry professionals.
The Institute offers five core courses and one elective. The five core courses award Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for attorneys; CPCU CPD credits for underwriters; and CPE credits for CPAs.

Cat Modeling (elective);
Current Issues Forum (elective).

ReScholar Program:
The Institute will recognize industry professionals who complete five courses by awarding them a ReScholar Certificate of Reinsurance Education at an awards ceremony held during the RAA's Current Issues Forum in Philadelphia each year.
